Description
A black and white photograph of men and women from the Young Lords Party marching to the United Nations on October 30, 1970. The group of men and women carry the Puerto Rican flag. Many of the men and women wear berets with pin back buttons attached on the front, promoting the Young Lords Party. The man at the center of the image wears a leather jacket, pin-striped collared shirt, and beret. To his right, on the left side of the image, are two women also wearing berets with pin back buttons. To his left is a man holding the corner of the flag. The group marches in a street with tall buildings in the background. The back of the photograph has an inscription identifying the title, date and photographer.
