About the Collection
I chose to identify roughly two objects or artworks from each repository and catalog with details mirroring the information present in the open access repository. There was no specific theme for the type of object or artwork, the date it originates, the geographic location it is from, or the subject matter it communicates. Because of this, a wide array of objects that span from antiquity to contemporary or present in the collection. The commonality of the collection is that each object or artwork contains multiple mediums and is present within one of the open access repositories listed above. Cataloging them under a chosen set of identifiers within my resource template was needed in order to present information for all of them within this collection. With that being said, some objects or artworks could be further cataloged to include identifiers such as provenance or parallel titles for translated works.
