description
Surrealist designer Elsa Schiaparelli may have been inspired by Sandro Botticelli's painting "Primavera" when making this necklace. In this painting, Flora, the Roman goddess of spring, wears a garland of ivy. The Schiaparelli version, in contrast, was worn by 20th-century socialite Millicent Rogers.
