Staffordshire cigarette card (verso)
Title (Dublin Core)
Staffordshire cigarette card
Description (Dublin Core)
A cigarette card depicting a building and potter at work in Staffordshire.
Verso reads: "This midland county is one of the great industrial centres of England, its coal and iron works forming part of the Black Country. It possesses, however, a beauty spot in Dove Dale. Isaac Walton was a native of Staffordshire. There are some fine timber houses in Stafford, one of which is shown. While Staffordshire has many important industries, the one that is most closely associated with its name is its famous pottery."
