Fifteen Dublin Core field elements were used to catalog the items in this collection, including: identifier, creator, contributor, type, description, date, date modified, coverage, extent, medium, subject, source, provenance, rights.
Several different controlled vocabularies were implemented, including Getty Art and Architecture, the Getty List of Union Artist Names, GeoNames, and Rights.org. Crucially, a controlled vocabulary entitled Ukrainian Transliteration was created and utilized to ensure to the correct, romanized spelling of Ukrainian names.
