Art Crafts of Flowers during 18th-19th Century

The content has included three collections from The Met, The New York Public Library Digital Collection and  The Frick Collection.

The Scope of Art Crafts

I have always had the passion for flowers so I tend to collect different art crafts included flowers as main or one of the themes to share. As 18th and 19th century are closer to the modern period but still lack of photo technology so this period would be a good timeframe to look into the ways of presenting flowers on paper or different materials.

Control Vocabulary

I chose Dublin Core as my main control vocabulary as its core and universal characteristic, the standard can easily connect internal archive database and different field. In the other side, Dublin Core and support the function of exchange information and open access sources.
