These descriptive fields were selected to provide consistent accessible information across all items within the collection. These fields emphasize what is most visible in the surviving records. 

My required fields include: Title ,Creator, Date, Type, Medium, Identifier, Spatial Coverage, Subject, Description, Language, Source, Rights

Non‑repeatable fields include: Title, Identifier, Date, Description, and Rights.

Repeatable fields include: Creator, Subject, Type, Medium, Format, Spatial Coverage, Language and Source

My Identifier follows a consistent pattern across the collection.

Multiple fields are repeatable due to the variety of items available in the collection as well as the sources and languages Measurements follow CCO guidelines and reflect the dimensions provided by the source.

For vocabularies, I assigned:

AAT for Subject, Medium

ULAN LCSH for Subject

Subject has been assigned multiple vocabularies to reflect the vast political themes, actors, and movements associated with certain items

TGN for spatial coverage

LC MARC for languages, as some sourced material is originally in Spanish
