William Tecumseh Sherman Monument
This gilded-bronze equestrian group statue depicts one of the United States’ best-known generals, William Tecumseh Sherman (1820 – 1891). Dedicated in 1903, it was master sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens’s (1848 – 1907) last major work. It is located in Grand Army Plaza in Manhattan on Central Park's southeast corner, where Fifth Avenue meets 59th Street. -

Bethesda Fountain
Bethesda Fountain, with its statue entitled 'Angel of the Waters' placed within, was designed by Emma Stebbins (1 September 1815 – 25 October 1882) in 1868 but not revealed until 1873. It is located in the center of Bethesda Terrace in Central Park. 'Angel of the Waters' is an 8-foot (2.4 m) bronze statue. -
